ok for the ipod i first took a picture of it and then took it into photoshop n did my thing!:]
used brushes for the frame
a number of different textured layers and overlays to give it that ;grunge' look/effect.
i thin the source of ur photomaterial is very important to the outcome of the finished design, having a profeshional camera is always the best start!
by all means id defo recormend the Cannon 30D, i think its abit over priced but its well worth it!
